FAQ

The questions we get asked first

What do you actually do?

Three things. Websites, at a fitted-template level through to a fully custom build. Automations for the work that repeats every week, like reading invoices, moving figures between systems and building the same report every Monday. And ready-made process documents, such as meeting notes and client email templates, that you use on every job. Most people come for one and end up asking about another.

How much does it cost?

Websites start at $1,200 for a template fitted to your business. Automations start at $500 for a single workflow. Everything is a fixed price, quoted against a written scope after the discovery call, and it does not move unless the scope does. There is no hourly billing and no open-ended estimate.

How long does it take?

One to three weeks for a typical project, measured from the discovery call to something running against your real data. Larger builds take longer, and we will say so up front rather than after you have committed.

How do we start?

Book a free discovery call, or send an email describing what your week looks like. There is nothing to prepare and nothing to bring. If it turns out we are not the right fit for the work, we will say so on the call rather than quote you for it.

Do I need to change the software we already use?

No. The work is built around your existing tools: the spreadsheets, inbox, accounting package and CRM your team already knows. Replacing those is expensive and disruptive, and it is rarely what actually saves the time.

What happens to my data?

It stays in your systems. Where a language model is involved we use business API tiers that do not train on your inputs, we send only what the task needs, and we can keep sensitive fields out of the request entirely. Anything specific your industry requires, tell us in discovery.

What if it gets something wrong?

Everything is checked against real jobs from your last few months before it goes live, and the output is compared against what your team produced by hand. Where a judgement call is involved the system flags it for a person rather than guessing, and any figure it produces can be traced back to the document it came from. You keep a human in the loop exactly where one belongs.

What happens after it is delivered?

Every automation includes its first month of support and changes, and a website includes four weeks after launch. For automations, ongoing support after that is available at $100 per instance — optional, and only for the instances you ask us to look after. Website changes after the included period are quoted as new work.

Do I own what you build?

Yes, completely. The source code, the documentation and the files are yours at handover. Nothing is locked to a platform of ours, and another developer could pick it up tomorrow without talking to us first.
